About Koh Tao — Green Rock

A large underwater rock formation off Koh Tao's north shore, Green Rock features a labyrinth of chambers, overhangs, and swim-throughs created by massive granite boulders. The site is exceptional for night diving when hunting barracuda, moray eels, and octopus emerge from hiding. During the day, batfish, triggerfish, and juvenile blacktip reef sharks frequent the site, with occasional turtle sightings.
