An archipelago of 26 atolls with some of the clearest water on the planet. Manta rays gather at cleaning stations across the central atolls, whale sharks cruise South Ari Atoll seasonally, and healthy hard-coral thilas teem with reef sharks, turtles, and eagle rays. Best diving conditions run from November to May, though year-round encounters are the norm.
Over 1,200 kilometres of coastline sheltering pristine coral walls, WWII-era wrecks like the SS Thistlegorm, and pelagic-rich offshore reefs. Northern routes deliver wreck diving and Ras Mohammed, while southern expeditions reach the Brothers Islands, Daedalus Reef, and Elphinstone — home to hammerhead sharks, oceanic whitetips, and bottlenose dolphins.
Blue Force operates two vessels in the Maldives (Blue Force One and Maldives Blue Force 3) and one vessel in Egypt's Red Sea (Red Sea Blue Force 2).
In the Maldives: manta rays, whale sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, and turtles. In the Red Sea: hammerhead sharks, oceanic whitetips, dolphins, moray eels, and vibrant coral reef fish.
Most itineraries welcome Open Water certified divers. Some advanced Maldives routes and Red Sea deep south expeditions may require Advanced Open Water and a minimum number of logged dives.
