Dining aboard the Akomo Isseki features three freshly prepared meals daily, offering a delicious blend of Indonesian and Western dishes served buffet-style. The full-board plan includes various interval snacks, freshly baked bread, and complimentary coffee, tea, and purified water. Special dietary needs like vegetarian and vegan options are accommodated, and weather permitting, memorable beach barbecues are organized for an al fresco dining experience under the stars.

Indonesia offers some of the most biodiverse diving on the planet, with the Akomo Isseki exploring Raja Ampat, Komodo National Park, and the Banda Sea. In Komodo, divers can witness manta rays and the unique mating dance of Mandarin fish, while Raja Ampat itineraries from November to April showcase wobbegong sharks, pygmy seahorses, and nudibranchs. The Spice Island Trail offers the possibility of encountering schooling hammerheads in less-frequented areas. All scuba sessions are led by professional guides and a Cruise Director, providing expert navigation through conditions ranging from calm coral gardens to ripping currents.

Airport Transfers
In Banda Neira, airport and hotel pickups are complimentary. For trips departing from Komodo or Raja Ampat, airport and hotel transfers are not included, and guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the vessel.
Insurance Recommendation
We strongly recommend all guests to purchase comprehensive dive accident insurance and trip cancellation insurance before departure. Dive accident insurance covers medical treatment, hyperbaric chamber costs, and emergency evacuation in the event of a diving incident. Trip cancellation insurance protects your financial investment — not only if you need to cancel or cut short your trip due to personal illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, but also if the trip is postponed or cancelled by the operator due to severe weather, technical issues, or other operational reasons. In the unlikely event of operator insolvency, cancellation insurance can also help recover your payments. Please ensure your policies are valid for the entire duration of your trip and cover the planned activities.
Medical Form Required
A valid dive medical certificate is required for all guests on this vessel. The medical form must be signed by a licensed physician and confirm fitness for diving. Please upload your medical certificate when managing your booking.
Rental Gear
Diving equipment hire is provided upon request. Daily rates include: Full Equipment (BCD, Fins, Mask, Regulator, Wetsuit) at 350,000 IDR; Dive Computer or Light at 150,000 IDR; BCD, Regulator, or SMB at 100,000 IDR; and Fins, Mask, Snorkel Gear, or Wetsuit at 50,000 IDR.

These cabins are naturally vented, providing a pleasant and airy atmosphere, and while they share bathroom facilities, these are modern and incorporate traditional Indonesian craftsmanship.

How does the booking process work?
Select a cabin and departure on Akomo Isseki, and we send a real-time inquiry to the operator. After availability is confirmed, you receive a booking confirmation by email and secure your spot with a deposit.
When do I need to pay?
A deposit (usually 25-35%) is due upon confirmation. The remaining balance is typically due 4-8 weeks before departure, depending on the operator.
What documents will I receive?
After your final payment, you'll receive a travel voucher with meeting point, embarkation time, airport transfer details, packing tips, and your full itinerary.
How do I get to the boat?
Most liveaboards depart from a designated marina. Many operators offer airport pickup and transfers — details are in your voucher. We recommend arriving one day before departure.
What certifications do I need?
A valid dive certification (e.g. PADI Open Water), dive insurance, and a valid passport. Some destinations require additional permits or visas — we inform you during booking.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Cancellation terms vary by operator and are in your confirmation. Generally, the earlier you cancel the higher the refund. Changes depend on availability — contact us as soon as possible.
