About USAT Liberty Wreck
A WWII US Army cargo ship torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in 1942, now lying in shallow water at Tulamben. The 120m wreck is entirely encrusted with corals and sponges and is home to pygmy seahorses, bumphead parrotfish, and a resident barracuda school.
