Russian Bay Dive Site — Madagascar

Russian Bay dive site in Madagascar

About Russian Bay

A sheltered bay on the western side of Nosy Be, Russian Bay is Madagascar's premier muck and macro diving destination. The gently sloping reef of rubble, sand and scattered coral heads harbours an extraordinary density of critters: nudibranchs in dozens of species, leaf scorpionfish in multiple colour morphs, painted frogfish, robust and ornate ghost pipefish, and flamboyant cuttlefish. Night dives here are legendary, revealing Spanish dancers, stargazers, and hunting bobbit worms. A macro photographer's paradise.
