Nosy Komba Reef Dive Site — Madagascar
About Nosy Komba Reef
The fringing reef around Nosy Komba — also known as Lemur Island — features exceptionally diverse coral coverage with over 60 species of hard coral in a compact area. The gentle slope from 4m to 18m harbours an abundance of tropical reef fish, including schools of Moorish idols, emperor angelfish and butterflyfish. Octopus and broadclub cuttlefish are commonly spotted hunting on the reef flat. The site's proximity to Nosy Be and sheltered conditions make it ideal for relaxed dives and underwater photography.
