Nosy Iranja Drop-off Dive Site — Madagascar

Nosy Iranja Drop-off dive site in Madagascar

About Nosy Iranja Drop-off

A remote dive site off the stunning twin islands of Nosy Iranja, connected by a sandbar visible from the air. The reef drops sharply from 8m into deep blue water beyond 38m, where scalloped hammerhead sharks have been spotted in the early morning. The shallow reef plateau is home to giant clams exceeding one metre across and spectacular anemone gardens hosting families of clownfish. Green turtles nest on Iranja's beaches and are frequently encountered underwater. One of Madagascar's most scenic above and below water.
