Nosy Mitsio Pinnacles Dive Site — Madagascar

Nosy Mitsio Pinnacles dive site in Madagascar

About Nosy Mitsio Pinnacles

Remote volcanic pinnacles rising from the deep blue north of Nosy Be, the Mitsio Pinnacles are Madagascar's most dramatic underwater topography. Sheer basalt columns draped in orange and yellow soft corals emerge from 40m+ depths. Strong oceanic currents sweep nutrients past the pinnacles, attracting massive schools of barracuda, grey reef sharks, and during migration season, manta rays cruising through cleaning stations. Visibility often exceeds 30m in the exposed oceanic conditions. For experienced divers only.
