Mitsio Sharks Point Dive Site — Madagascar

Mitsio Sharks Point dive site in Madagascar

About Mitsio Sharks Point

The exposed western point of Nosy Mitsio juts into open ocean where strong currents sweep along the reef edge. Grey reef sharks congregate here in impressive numbers — groups of 10 to 20 are regularly seen patrolling the drop-off. Visibility frequently exceeds 30m in the gin-clear oceanic water, and the pristine coral coverage is among the healthiest in all of Madagascar. Occasional visitors include silvertip sharks and guitarfish resting on sandy patches. A world-class shark dive in a remote, unspoilt setting.
