Night Snapper Dive Site — Alor
About Night Snapper
A coral bommie field on a gentle slope, famous for massive aggregations of midnight snapper and big-eye trevally. At depth, garden eels carpet the sandy flats between bommies. The site is sheltered from currents, making it a relaxed yet visually rewarding dive with excellent macro opportunities.

- Current: Currents in Alor are often strong and unpredictable, similar to Komodo, with significant upwellings and whirlpools possible during tidal changes. Slack periods can also be very unpredictable, and divers may be swept off sites near the end of a dive.
