Pygmy seahorses are tiny marvels of camouflage, measuring less than 2cm and perfectly mimicking the gorgonian sea fans they inhabit. Raja Ampat hosts multiple species.

Diving Tips
Finding pygmy seahorses requires excellent buoyancy, a keen eye, and ideally an experienced guide. Never touch the gorgonian fan. Limit photography time and avoid continuous strobe use.
