About Gamat Bay

A protected bay on Nusa Penida with calm conditions ideal for beginners and macro enthusiasts. The sandy bottom with coral patches creates perfect habitat for nudibranchs, seahorses, and juvenile reef fish. Blue-ringed octopus, mimic octopus, and flamboyant cuttlefish are regular finds. The bay also serves as a nursery for many reef species, making it an underwater photography hotspot.
