Maldives Victory Wreck Dive Site — Maldives
About Maldives Victory Wreck
The MV Victory, a 110-metre Singaporean cargo freighter, sank on Friday the 13th in 1981 after striking a reef near Malé harbour. Now resting upright at 35m with its superstructure reaching 12m, the wreck is encrusted in vibrant soft corals and home to enormous schools of batfish, lionfish, and giant groupers. Moray eels inhabit the cargo holds, and the bridge offers dramatic swim-throughs. One of the most accessible and photogenic wreck dives in the Indian Ocean.
