About Kandooma Thila (Cocoa Thila)

One of South Malé Atoll's most exciting pinnacle dives, with its top at 16m surrounded by deep blue water. The west and north sides feature dramatic overhangs covered in soft corals where grey reef sharks gather at a cleaning station, often hovering vertically while cleaner wrasse work. Schools of bluefin trevally, oriental sweetlips, and eagle rays are common. Strong currents make this a challenging but incredibly rewarding dive.
