About Tiputa Pass
Rangiroa's legendary pass is one of the most thrilling drift dives on Earth, where incoming tides bring schools of grey reef sharks, bottlenose dolphins surfing the current, and seasonal hammerhead encounters. Divers are swept through the narrow channel alongside hundreds of sharks, barracuda, and Napoleon wrasse in visibility often exceeding 40 meters. Best dived on an incoming tide between June and October for peak shark action.
