South Pass - Fakarava dive site in French Polynesia

About South Pass - Fakarava

One of the world's greatest shark dives, Fakarava's South Pass (Tetamanu) is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve where over 300 grey reef sharks form a living wall at the pass mouth. During grouper spawning season in June–July, the shark numbers explode as predators gather for the feast. The site offers a raw, primal diving experience unmatched anywhere else in the Pacific.
