About Koh Lipe — 8 Mile Rock

A remote submerged pinnacle approximately 8 miles from Koh Lipe near the Malaysian border, 8 Mile Rock rewards those who make the journey with some of Thailand's best visibility, often exceeding 30 meters. The pinnacle attracts grey reef sharks, large marble groupers, and schools of fusiliers. Pristine hard corals and sea fans cover the rock, largely untouched due to its remote location.
