Maria la Gorda Dive Site — Cuba
About Maria la Gorda
Located within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Guanahacabibes National Park, Maria la Gorda offers gently stepped wall dives perfect for all levels. Unlike the steep Bay of Pigs walls, the topography here slopes in terraced sections. Legend says "Fat Mary" was a pirate bar hostess buried with treasure nearby. Includes an 18th-century shipwreck and numerous caverns.
