About Balicasag Island

A marine sanctuary off the southwest coast of Bohol with walls starting at just 5m and plunging vertically into the blue. Enormous resident schools of bigeye jacks form mesmerizing tornado formations, while green turtles rest on coral ledges. The reef plateau is blanketed in pristine hard corals with excellent visibility year-round.
