About Afkule Monastery Reef
Below the ruins of Afkule Monastery near Fethiye, the underwater landscape features rocky reef covered in colorful sponges. Octopus, cuttlefish and nudibranchs are abundant for macro photography. The reef slopes gently from 6m to 24m with large boulders creating swim-throughs and sheltered overhangs.
