About Kubu Reef

A pristine reef just south of Tulamben with gentle slopes covered in healthy hard and soft corals. The site is known for its resident juvenile white-tip reef sharks resting under table corals. Excellent macro diving with nudibranchs, flatworms, and well-camouflaged octopus. The reef attracts schools of fusiliers and occasionally passing eagle rays. An artificial reef project has created additional habitat attracting an impressive array of marine life.
