West Reef Dive Site — Madagascar

West Reef dive site in Madagascar

About West Reef

A long reef system running parallel to the west coast of Nosy Be, West Reef offers a diverse and colourful dive from 8m to 25m. The reef crest is covered in both hard and soft corals supporting dense fish aggregations — giant schools of yellowtail fusiliers and humpback snappers swirl in the current. Spotted eagle rays cruise past in pairs or small groups, and large schools of orbicular batfish hang motionless at cleaning stations. An excellent all-round dive suitable for intermediate divers.
