The Amphitheatre Dive Site — Turks & Caicos
About The Amphitheatre
At Northwest Point, divers follow the wall to around 25 metres where a dramatic 10-metre natural bowl is carved out of the reef with a sandy bottom and three sloping sides, resembling an amphitheatre. The reef is crowded with large elephant ear sponges and black corals, while schooling horse-eye jacks and barracuda patrol above. Advanced divers can descend to 27 metres to spot rare orange rope sponges.
