Sawandarek Dive Site — Raja Ampat

Sawandarek dive site in Raja Ampat

About Sawandarek

Beautiful house reef of Sawandarek village with easy shore entry over seagrass beds where green turtles graze, leading to a vibrant coral slope. The slope descends gradually to 20m, hosting cleaning stations where sweetlips and groupers queue. The seagrass meadow at the entry point is a nursery for juvenile fish and often visited by feeding turtles, making the safety stop the highlight of the dive.
