Hithadhoo Corner (Addu) Dive Site — Maldives
About Hithadhoo Corner (Addu)
A remote reef corner on the western side of Addu Atoll where deep oceanic water meets the atoll's outer reef. The site is known for encounters with large pelagics – hammerhead sharks, silvertip sharks, and oceanic manta rays pass through regularly. The reef slope features large barrel sponges, dense thickets of Acropora coral, and schools of pyramid butterflyfish. Due to the exposed position, visibility often exceeds 40m, making this one of the clearest dive sites in the Maldives.
