Embudu Kandu Dive Site — Maldives
About Embudu Kandu
A classic channel dive in North Malé Atoll where the Embudu channel meets the open ocean. The steep reef walls drop to 30m+ and are decorated with sea fans and soft corals. Grey reef sharks cruise the channel entrance, eagle rays glide past, and large schools of fusiliers and trevally hunt in the current. The channel corner offers a protected area where divers can observe sharks circling overhead.
