Der Yang Wreck Dive Site — Papua New Guinea
About Der Yang Wreck
A large freighter sitting perfectly upright on a sandy bottom near Kavieng, the Der Yang wreck is covered in soft corals and sponges after decades underwater. Safe penetration routes allow divers to explore the bridge, cargo holds, and engine room. Schools of batfish, lionfish, and sweetlips have made the wreck their permanent home.
