About Fotteyo Kandu

Vaavu Atoll's premier channel dive and one of the Maldives' most spectacular kandu dives. The channel features dramatic overhangs festooned with orange and purple soft corals, small caves hiding lobsters and sleeping nurse sharks, and a corner where grey reef sharks gather in impressive numbers. Eagle rays soar through the current, and Napoleon wrasse cruise along the reef edge. Best dived on an incoming current for maximum pelagic action.
