Dhiggiri Kandu Dive Site — Maldives
About Dhiggiri Kandu
A deep channel dive in Vaavu Atoll known for occasional tiger shark encounters during the northeast monsoon (December–April). The channel drops steeply to 40m+ with strong currents attracting large pelagics including grey reef sharks, bull sharks, and silvertip sharks. The walls are covered in healthy gorgonian fans and whip corals. Strictly for experienced deep divers comfortable with strong, unpredictable currents and limited visibility at depth.
