Carib Cargo Dive Site — St. Maarten

About Carib Cargo

A former inter-island cargo vessel sunk by Hurricane Bertha in 1996, now sitting upright on a sandy bottom at 18 metres. The intact hull is penetrable and covered in sponges and soft corals, attracting large schools of grunts, snappers, and the occasional reef shark. An excellent wreck for underwater photography with typically clear visibility.
