About Vatu-I-Ra Passage
The nutrient-rich passage between Viti Levu and Vanua Levu channels strong currents that feed some of Fiji's most spectacular soft coral reefs. Multiple dive sites within the passage offer different experiences — from gentle reef slopes covered in soft corals to current-swept pinnacles attracting grey reef sharks, barracuda, and eagle rays. The passage is the gateway to Bligh Water and hosts several world-class dive sites including E6, Cat's Meow, and Mount Mutiny.
