Spanish Anchor Dive Site — Turks & Caicos
About Spanish Anchor
One of West Caicos' most famous sites, featuring an antique anchor embedded in the reef — the only remains of a centuries-old Spanish galleon, encrusted in brightly coloured corals and sponges. Divers pass the anchor through a swim-through en route to the wall. Macro enthusiasts can spot frogfish, seahorses, and spotted drums hiding in the coral gardens, while hawksbill turtles and reef sharks cruise the wall.
