Nusantara is a boutique liveaboard cruising the Komodo, Indonesia region. It hosts up to 12 divers on board.
Nusantara navigates Komodo's dynamic currents, offering an authentic platform for exploring the archipelago's marine biodiversity. Dining aboard the Nusantara is a delightful experience, featuring a blend of local Indonesian specialties and familiar Western dishes, all served buffet-style. Guests are treated to a full-board meal plan, ensuring three satisfying meals per day, complemented by an array of snacks available throughout the day. The al fresco dining setup allows guests to enjoy their meals with breathtaking views of the Indonesian archipelago. The crew is adept at catering to various dietary requirements, including vegan and vegetarian options, which can be specified during booking. Unlimited drinking water, tea, and coffee are always available, creating a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere.
Komodo National Park is one of Indonesia's premier diving destinations, where powerful currents sweeping between the Indian Ocean and the Flores Sea create an incredibly nutrient-rich environment. Divers are rewarded with encounters with giant oceanic manta rays at sites like Manta Alley and Cauldron, while reef sharks patrol the dramatic underwater pinnacles and walls. The currents attract large schools of trevally, barracuda, and sweetlips, and the reefs are blanketed in vibrant soft corals in every shade of pink, purple, and orange. Macro life is equally impressive, with pygmy seahorses, blue-ringed octopus, and colorful nudibranchs hiding among the coral. Above water, the famous Komodo dragons roam the islands, making this one of the few places on earth where world-class diving meets a truly unique terrestrial experience.

We strongly recommend all guests to purchase comprehensive dive accident insurance and trip cancellation insurance before departure. Dive accident insurance covers medical treatment, hyperbaric chamber costs, and emergency evacuation in the event of a diving incident. Trip cancellation insurance protects your financial investment — not only if you need to cancel or cut short your trip due to personal illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, but also if the trip is postponed or cancelled by the operator due to severe weather, technical issues, or other operational reasons. In the unlikely event of operator insolvency, cancellation insurance can also help recover your payments. Please ensure your policies are valid for the entire duration of your trip and cover the planned activities.
A valid dive medical certificate is required for all guests on this vessel. The medical form must be signed by a licensed physician and confirm fitness for diving. Please upload your medical certificate when managing your booking.
