About Nigali Passage
Fiji's most famous drift dive, located off Gau Island in the Lomaiviti Group. Divers drift through a narrow channel where strong currents funnel nutrients, attracting dozens of grey reef sharks that stack up in the blue water below. The channel opens into a natural amphitheater at 30m where sharks circle continuously. Eagle rays, barracuda, and schools of trevally complete the spectacle. Best dived on an incoming tide for predictable current direction.
