About Purple Wall
A dramatic wall dive in the Somosomo Strait near Taveuni, famous for its dense coverage of purple and lavender soft corals cascading down a steep drop-off from 8m to 35m+. The wall features small caves and overhangs where whitetip reef sharks rest. Schools of fusiliers and anthias create moving curtains of color against the purple coral backdrop. One of the most visually stunning wall dives in Fiji.
