Manta Channel - Kadavu Dive Site — Fiji
About Manta Channel - Kadavu
Kadavu's premier manta ray encounter site. A well-established cleaning station on a shallow reef where manta rays (Mobula alfredi) arrive regularly from May to October to be groomed by cleaner wrasse and butterflyfish. Divers settle on the sandy bottom at 12-15m and watch mantas circle overhead, sometimes for the entire dive. Up to 8 mantas have been observed simultaneously. The surrounding coral gardens provide excellent diving even without manta sightings.
