Explore Egypt's Red Sea with purpose and comfort.
Ghazala Explorer is a liveaboard cruising the Egypt region. It hosts up to 24 divers on board.
The 37-meter Ghazala Explorer, built in 2021, navigates Egypt's Red Sea at 11 knots, accommodating 24 guests in 4 cabins. Egypt’s coastline presents a sharp division between two worlds. Meals are served buffet-style, offering a mix of local Egyptian dishes and international cuisine. Hot drinks and snacks are available throughout the day. Dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice, including vegetarian and vegan options. A selection of beverages is offered at the onboard bar.
The Red Sea is widely regarded as one of the world's top diving destinations, famous for its exceptional visibility often exceeding 30 meters and warm waters throughout the year. Divers encounter a remarkable variety of marine life, from oceanic whitetip sharks, hammerheads, and grey reef sharks to graceful manta rays and pods of spinner dolphins. The region offers world-class wreck diving, including the legendary SS Thistlegorm, and pristine coral reefs at Ras Mohammed National Park. Southern itineraries explore remote offshore reefs such as Daedalus, Elphinstone, and the Brothers Islands, where dramatic walls plunge into the deep blue and large pelagics patrol the currents. Vibrant coral gardens host dense schools of anthias, butterflyfish, and giant moray eels, while macro enthusiasts find nudibranchs and ghost pipefish hiding among the reef.

Gratuities · All prices listed above are approximate guidelines and cannot be guaranteed. Prices may change depending on circumstances and are subject to confirmation by the vessel operator. These fees usually apply per person, not per trip — especially Marine Park Fees and Fuel Surcharge.
Return transfers from Hurghada Airport to the marina are included in the trip price. Hotel transfers are also provided for guest convenience.
We strongly recommend all guests to purchase comprehensive dive accident insurance and trip cancellation insurance before departure. Dive accident insurance covers medical treatment, hyperbaric chamber costs, and emergency evacuation in the event of a diving incident. Trip cancellation insurance protects your financial investment — not only if you need to cancel or cut short your trip due to personal illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, but also if the trip is postponed or cancelled by the operator due to severe weather, technical issues, or other operational reasons. In the unlikely event of operator insolvency, cancellation insurance can also help recover your payments. Please ensure your policies are valid for the entire duration of your trip and cover the planned activities.
A valid dive medical certificate is required for all guests on this vessel. The medical form must be signed by a licensed physician and confirm fitness for diving. Please upload your medical certificate when managing your booking.
