A refined 43-meter dive ship, newly modernized for elite underwater excursions with free nitrox and professional guides.
Searose II is a liveaboard cruising the Maldives region. It hosts up to 22 divers on board.
The 43-meter Searose II, refurbished in 2024, explores the Maldivian atolls, providing access to diverse reef systems. Indulge in a culinary journey featuring a combination of worldwide and local cuisine served through set-course evening meals and buffet-style service. Guests can savor Western, vegetarian, and vegan dishes, complemented by a curated wine list and a fully stocked bar. Beyond the main dining experience, special beachside barbecues offer a unique way to enjoy meals under the Maldivian sky, with snacks and refreshments available throughout the voyage.
The Maldives offers a truly extraordinary underwater world spread across 26 atolls in the Indian Ocean, with crystal-clear waters and visibility frequently exceeding 30 meters. Divers are drawn here for reliable encounters with manta rays at famous cleaning stations like Hanifaru Bay and Lankan Reef, as well as whale sharks that cruise through the channels year-round. The atolls feature distinctive underwater topography including thilas (submerged pinnacles), kandus (channels), and overhangs draped in soft corals. Grey reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks, eagle rays, and Napoleon wrasse are common sightings, while the nutrient-rich currents attract large schools of fusiliers, trevally, and barracuda. Night dives reveal nurse sharks resting on sandy bottoms and bioluminescent plankton glowing in the darkness.

We strongly recommend all guests to purchase comprehensive dive accident insurance and trip cancellation insurance before departure. Dive accident insurance covers medical treatment, hyperbaric chamber costs, and emergency evacuation in the event of a diving incident. Trip cancellation insurance protects your financial investment — not only if you need to cancel or cut short your trip due to personal illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, but also if the trip is postponed or cancelled by the operator due to severe weather, technical issues, or other operational reasons. In the unlikely event of operator insolvency, cancellation insurance can also help recover your payments. Please ensure your policies are valid for the entire duration of your trip and cover the planned activities.
A valid dive medical certificate is required for all guests on this vessel. The medical form must be signed by a licensed physician and confirm fitness for diving. Please upload your medical certificate when managing your booking.
