About this route

This Truk Lagoon advanced diving itinerary explores the historical Japanese WWII wrecks that lie within the sheltered waters of this remote Micronesian atoll. Divers can expect a unique collection of military vessels, aircraft, and associated artifacts, many adorned with soft corals after decades underwater. While some reef fish and pelagic species like reef sharks can be seen, the emphasis here remains on the prolific and well-preserved wreck sites themselves. The itinerary begins and ends on Weno Island, focusing on the central lagoon's established and accessible dive sites over nine full days of underwater exploration.
