Set sail on a 7-night diving expedition through the remote southern reaches of the Maldives, connecting the vibrant Huvadhoo and Laamu Atolls. This journey focuses on deep channels and pristine reefs, offering exhilarating drift dives and frequent encounters with large pelagics. Guests can enjoy a blend of structured diving and comfortable onboard living as they explore these less-frequented Maldivian waters.
Huvadhoo Atoll, located in the southern Maldives, is one of the world's largest natural atolls and a premier diving destination. Known for its deep channels and strong currents, it attracts a rich diversity of pelagic marine life, including various shark species. The atoll boasts pristine coral reefs and offers exhilarating drift dives with exceptional visibility.
A less-visited region in the southern Maldives, Laamu is characterized by its untouched reef systems and vibrant fish life. The topography includes shallow plateaus and dramatic outer reef walls.
Upon arriving in the Maldives, travelers will take a domestic flight from Malé to Huvadhoo where the crew provides airport transfers. The first day involves a safety briefing from the Cruise Director, cabin assignments, and time for divers to organize their gear before the vessel begins its journey.
The diving program starts in the deep channels of Huvadhoo, an area famous for its strong currents and high-energy drift dives. The underwater topography often features steep drop-offs and large coral plates where sharks and rays are known to congregate. Expect 2-3 daily dives, including a night dive if conditions are favorable.

On the last day of underwater activities, the schedule includes 1-2 dives in the Laamu region. These sites typically feature healthy hard coral gardens and a high density of colorful reef fish before the boat makes its way back to the harbor. Divers are reminded of the 24-hour surface interval required before their departure flight.
