Are there hidden fees I should know about?

Booking, Payment & Cancellation

The published price covers cabin, meals and standard dives. Mandatory extras (port fees, marine park fees, fuel surcharges) are listed transparently before booking. Optional add-ons include nitrox, gear rental, and Wi-Fi.

We hate hidden fees and work hard to make every cost visible before you book. The published cabin price always covers: your cabin, all meals, soft drinks, all guided dives, tanks, weights, dive guide service, and onboard accommodations.

Mandatory extras vary by destination and are clearly listed on every vessel page under 'What's Not Included.' These typically include: port fees (€20-50), marine park entry fees (Galápagos $200, Raja Ampat $100, Komodo €25-50, Tubbataha $200), fuel surcharges (rarely, only when oil prices spike), and tourist visas where applicable. These fees are usually paid in cash on board in USD or EUR.

Optional add-ons that are paid on board: nitrox fills (typically €100-150 for the week, free on premium boats), full equipment rental (€100-250 for the week), Wi-Fi (€20-50 for the week if not included), alcoholic beverages (€3-8/beer, wine €25-40/bottle), spa services on premium boats (€60-100 per treatment), and crew tips (10% of trip cost is the industry norm, distributed equally to the crew).

Single supplements apply if you book a cabin alone instead of sharing

The supplement is typically 30-70% of the second guest's cost. Some boats waive it in shoulder season; others enforce it strictly. The exact amount is shown on the booking page when you select 'single occupancy.'

What's never charged extra: tanks, weights, weight belts, lead, dive guides, surface support, snacks between dives, and use of all common-area amenities (sundeck, lounge, library, hot tubs where present).
