All meals are freshly prepared by a skilled Thai chef and served buffet-style, encouraging a relaxed and communal atmosphere. Guests can enjoy their meals in the comfortable indoor salon or opt for the refreshing outdoor dining area. Special dietary requirements, such as vegetarian and vegan options, are happily accommodated with advance notice. Throughout the day, a constant supply of complimentary snacks, fresh fruits, tea, coffee, and drinking water is available. For those wishing to unwind with an alcoholic beverage, beer and wine are also offered for purchase.

The Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and Richelieu Rock are among Thailand's most celebrated dive destinations, offering a diverse range of underwater landscapes. The Marco Polo's itinerary focuses on these prime locations, known for their vibrant coral gardens, dramatic rock formations, and rich pelagic encounters. Visibility is generally excellent, often exceeding 20-30 meters, especially during the peak season from November to April. Divers can expect to see a plethora of marine life, including leopard sharks, reef sharks, manta rays, and occasionally whale sharks at sites like Richelieu Rock. The flexibility of the Marco Polo's schedule allows the captain to choose the best dive sites daily, considering weather, currents, and avoiding crowded spots, ensuring an optimal and serene diving experience for all guests. The small dive group sizes (max 4 divers per guide) further enhance the quality of each dive, allowing for more focused exploration and marine life spotting.

Insurance Recommendation
We strongly recommend all guests to purchase comprehensive dive accident insurance and trip cancellation insurance before departure. Dive accident insurance covers medical treatment, hyperbaric chamber costs, and emergency evacuation in the event of a diving incident. Trip cancellation insurance protects your financial investment — not only if you need to cancel or cut short your trip due to personal illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, but also if the trip is postponed or cancelled by the operator due to severe weather, technical issues, or other operational reasons. In the unlikely event of operator insolvency, cancellation insurance can also help recover your payments. Please ensure your policies are valid for the entire duration of your trip and cover the planned activities.
Medical Form Required
A valid dive medical certificate is required for all guests on this vessel. The medical form must be signed by a licensed physician and confirm fitness for diving. Please upload your medical certificate when managing your booking.

Six comfortable cabins, each featuring bunk beds, offer ample space for your personal belongings. Every room provides direct access to the outer deck, allowing you to fully experience the refreshing sea breeze, especially when the sun is intense. Each cabin is equipped with its own private bathroom, including a toilet, sink, LED mirror, rain shower, and a handheld shower. Furthermore, an individually adjustable air conditioning system with remote control is provided in each cabin, enabling you to set the temperature to your personal comfort. For added convenience, every bed comes with its own reading lamp and 220-V power outlets, ensuring continuous power supply.

How does the booking process work?
Select a cabin and departure on Marco Polo, and we send a real-time inquiry to the operator. After availability is confirmed, you receive a booking confirmation by email and secure your spot with a deposit.
When do I need to pay?
A deposit (usually 25-35%) is due upon confirmation. The remaining balance is typically due 4-8 weeks before departure, depending on the operator.
What documents will I receive?
After your final payment, you'll receive a travel voucher with meeting point, embarkation time, airport transfer details, packing tips, and your full itinerary.
How do I get to the boat?
Most liveaboards depart from a designated marina. Many operators offer airport pickup and transfers — details are in your voucher. We recommend arriving one day before departure.
What certifications do I need?
A valid dive certification (e.g. PADI Open Water), dive insurance, and a valid passport. Some destinations require additional permits or visas — we inform you during booking.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Cancellation terms vary by operator and are in your confirmation. Generally, the earlier you cancel the higher the refund. Changes depend on availability — contact us as soon as possible.
