Dive Area & Sites

The Manta Queen 1 offers an exceptional diving experience across Thailand's renowned North Andaman Sea, visiting iconic sites like the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and Richelieu Rock. These areas are celebrated for their vibrant coral gardens, impressive rock formations, and a high chance of encountering pelagic species. Divers can look forward to spotting whale sharks and manta rays at Richelieu Rock, exploring vast schools of fish around the Boonsung Wreck, and searching for reef sharks at Elephant Head Rock. The experienced dive team, fluent in multiple languages, ensures personalized service and safety for all guests, catering to both seasoned divers and those new to liveaboard adventures. With a maximum of 20 guests, dive groups are kept small, allowing for more intimate and focused exploration of the underwater world. The vessel's dive operations are designed for convenience and efficiency. A spacious, shaded dive deck provides ample room for gearing up, and tenders are used to transport divers directly to the best entry points. Nitrox is available for those certified, allowing for extended bottom times, and dedicated rinse tanks are provided for cameras and gear. Beyond the dives, guests can also enjoy snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters or taking tender trips to the pristine white-sand beaches of the Similan Islands, offering a perfect blend of underwater exploration and surface relaxation.

Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend all guests to purchase comprehensive dive accident insurance and trip cancellation insurance before departure. Dive accident insurance covers medical treatment, hyperbaric chamber costs, and emergency evacuation in the event of a diving incident. Trip cancellation insurance protects your financial investment — not only if you need to cancel or cut short your trip due to personal illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, but also if the trip is postponed or cancelled by the operator due to severe weather, technical issues, or other operational reasons. In the unlikely event of operator insolvency, cancellation insurance can also help recover your payments. Please ensure your policies are valid for the entire duration of your trip and cover the planned activities.

Medical Form Required

A valid dive medical certificate is required for all guests on this vessel. The medical form must be signed by a licensed physician and confirm fitness for diving. Please upload your medical certificate when managing your booking.
