About Rock and Roll

Rock and Roll is a vibrant wall dive situated off French Cay in the Turks and Caicos Islands, recognized as a prime location for both afternoon and night dives. French Cay is renowned for its abundant soft corals and serves as a crucial habitat supporting large schools of various fish species. The island itself is uninhabited and is visited by liveaboards originating from Providenciales. At this site, the wall begins at a depth of approximately 12 meters, presenting a diverse coral landscape. Divers will encounter numerous barrel sponges, alongside impressive elkhorn and pillar corals, forming a rich and intricate reef structure. The topography provides varied areas to explore along the wall. Marine life sightings include juvenile barracuda and lobsters, frequently observed during daylight hours. French Cay is generally known for sightings of majestic eagle rays, barracuda, and reef sharks, with large aggregations of snapper, grunts, Creole wrasses, grouper, and horse-eye jacks often congregating along its sheer walls. Visibility in the region is consistently excellent, often ranging between 23 to 46 meters year-round. This site is typically accessed via liveaboard, allowing multiple dives per day.
