About Primavera
Primavera is an approachable shipwreck dive site located in the Berlengas Archipelago, off the coast of Peniche in Central North Portugal. This Italian steamer, sunken since 1902, rests in a protected location, making it easier to dive even for less experienced divers. Despite being severely damaged, the wreck is carpeted in corals and home to a variety of marine life including forkbeards, red mullets, wrasses, lobsters, schools of seabream, dories, pagrus, and occasionally ocean sunfish. The site offers a magical experience combining historical wreck exploration with diverse marine encounters in clear waters.
