Discover Indonesia's underwater marvels aboard the Ambai, where comfort meets unparalleled diving adventure.
Ambai is a boutique liveaboard cruising the Indonesia region. It hosts up to 16 divers on board.
Indonesia's marine realm, a confluence of major oceans, supports extensive coral formations and a high concentration of marine biodiversity. The Indonesian nation is composed of more than seventeen thousand islands, a geographic fact that creates an almost infinite coastline and a complex web of marine passages. This immense archipelago acts as a natural filter between the Pacific and Indian Ocea…

Dining aboard the Ambai is a delightful culinary journey, featuring a full-board meal plan that caters to diverse tastes. Guests can enjoy a generous buffet-style spread, offering a mix of delicious Western and authentic local Indonesian dishes. Snacks are available throughout the day to keep energy levels high between dives. The crew is attentive to dietary needs, providing vegan and vegetarian options upon request. Complimentary drinking water, soft drinks, tea, and coffee are always available, while a selection of beer and fine wines can be purchased to complement your meals. Special touches like welcome cocktails and a beach BBQ create memorable dining experiences under the stars.
Indonesia sits at the heart of the Coral Triangle, the most biodiverse marine region on the planet, harboring over 75% of all known coral species and more than 3,000 species of reef fish. Divers exploring these waters encounter an astonishing range of marine life, from pygmy seahorses and flamboyant cuttlefish to oceanic manta rays and schools of mobula rays. The country's vast archipelago offers dramatically different diving experiences — from muck diving over volcanic black sand to exhilarating drift dives along current-swept walls. Healthy coral reefs explode with color, hosting dense colonies of soft corals, sea fans, and barrel sponges. Whale sharks visit seasonally in several regions, and rare species such as walking sharks (epaulette sharks) can be found in the eastern waters.
VAT · Airport Transfer
Park, Port and Fuel Fees (300-450 EUR per trip) · Dive Insurance
Return airport transfers and hotel transfers are included in the trip price. Specific details regarding meeting points and schedules will be provided upon booking confirmation, depending on the itinerary and embarkation port (e.g., Sorong for Raja Ampat trips).
We strongly recommend all guests to purchase comprehensive dive accident insurance and trip cancellation insurance before departure. Dive accident insurance covers medical treatment, hyperbaric chamber costs, and emergency evacuation in the event of a diving incident. Trip cancellation insurance protects your financial investment — not only if you need to cancel or cut short your trip due to personal illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, but also if the trip is postponed or cancelled by the operator due to severe weather, technical issues, or other operational reasons. In the unlikely event of operator insolvency, cancellation insurance can also help recover your payments. Please ensure your policies are valid for the entire duration of your trip and cover the planned activities.
