Today is dedicated to exploring one of Safaga's most famous offshore sites, Panorama Reef. This huge coral formation features sheer walls plunging into the deep, strong currents, and excellent visibility. Dives focus on the north and south plateaus, where divers can spot large gorgonian fans and potentially encounter grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and schooling barracuda. The area known as 'Anemone City' is a highlight, packed with countless anemones and their resident clownfish.

    Offshore Safaga, Red Sea

The journey continues to another spectacular offshore reef, Abu Kafan. This long, narrow barrier reef offers exhilarating drift dives along its steep, coral-encrusted walls. The northern and southern plateaus are magnets for marine life. Divers can expect to see tuna, jacks, and occasionally hammerhead sharks in the blue. 5. Day 5: The Salem Express Wreck & Middle Reef

    Safaga, Red Sea

A highlight of the Safaga itinerary is the dive on the Salem Express. This large passenger ferry lies on its side at a maximum depth of around 30 meters.
