This itinerary combines the legendary offshore pinnacles of the Brother Islands with the vibrant reefs and famous wrecks of the Safaga region. Departing from Port Ghalib, you'll head straight for the deep walls and thrilling pelagic encounters of the Brothers, a prime location for sharks. The journey then continues north to explore Safaga's highlights, including the dramatic drop-offs of Panorama Reef and the historical Salem Express wreck. Divers should be comfortable with deep dives and strong currents, particularly at the marine park islands, making this an adventure for experienced divers.
Port Ghalib
Board the vessel and settle into your cabin. The afternoon includes a welcome briefing and equipment setup. After dinner, the boat departs from Port Ghalib, beginning the overnight journey out to the world-famous Brother Islands.

Brother Islands, Red Sea Marine Park
First dives of the trip are at Little Brother, an underwater mountain with sheer walls plunging into the abyss. The reef is completely covered in a dense forest of gorgonian fans and colourful soft corals. The northern plateau, sitting around 40 meters, is a prime spot to encounter grey reef sharks, silvertips, and potentially schools of hammerheads.

Brother Islands, Red Sea Marine Park
The day is spent at Big Brother, famous for encounters with oceanic whitetip and thresher sharks. The island also features two spectacular deep wrecks, the Numidia and the Aida, which lie on the steep reef slope and are now encrusted with coral. After the day's dives, the vessel begins the crossing north towards the Safaga area.

Safaga, Red Sea
After arriving in the Safaga area, diving commences at Panorama Reef, one of the region's most celebrated sites. This huge reef features sheer walls, plateaus, and stunning hard coral formations. Divers can expect exciting drift dives along the walls, with chances to spot schooling jacks, trevallies, and occasionally eagle rays or sharks in the blue.

Safaga, Red Sea
Today's destination is Abu Kifan, a long, narrow reef barrier often described as the 'Elphinstone of Safaga'. This site is known for its strong currents and offers thrilling drift dives along deep, vertical walls. The north and south plateaus are hotspots for marine life, including large groupers, napoleon wrasse, and barracuda.

Safaga, Red Sea
A significant part of the day is dedicated to diving the Salem Express wreck. This large passenger ferry is a poignant site and treated with respect as a maritime grave. The wreck lies on its side in shallow water, allowing for ample bottom time to explore the exterior, which has become an artificial reef for schools of fish and unique macro life.

Safaga, Red Sea
The last two dives of the trip are conducted on shallower reefs near Safaga, such as Ras Abu Soma or Tobia Arbaa. These sites offer beautiful coral gardens and a relaxed final underwater experience, perfect for spotting turtles, rays, and a huge variety of colourful reef fish. In the afternoon, the boat returns to the port in Safaga.

Safaga
After a final breakfast on board, guests will disembark in Safaga. The crew will assist with organizing transfers to local hotels or to Hurghada International Airport for departure.
