The journey also features the vibrant coral gardens of Fury Shoals, highlighted by a unique opportunity to snorkel with wild dolphins at Sataya. Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Arrival Day

    Port Ghalib

    Upon reaching the airport, a bus will transport you to the marina. After boarding, the crew will greet you, show you to your cabin, and you'll have an opportunity to acclimate to the ship.

  2. Day 2: Departure from Port Ghalib

    The day begins with breakfast, followed by a comprehensive safety and itinerary briefing. After your diving certifications are checked, the boat departs from the marina for a nearby location to conduct the first two dives of the trip. In the evening, the vessel embarks on a seven-hour overnight journey to Daedalus Reef.

  3. Day 3: Daedalus

    Daedalus

    Your day starts at dawn with dives on the steep walls of Daedalus. Three dives are planned, with two on the northern side offering a chance to spot hammerhead sharks in the open blue. The afternoon dive takes place on the western side, which is known for its incredible coral diversity and favorable lighting. A visit to the historic lighthouse on the reef may be possible between dives.

  4. Day 4: Daedalus

    Daedalus

    The exploration of Daedalus continues with three additional dives. You will have more opportunities to experience the rich marine life and impressive topography of this massive reef. Following dinner, the boat will begin its journey southwest towards the Fury Shoals area, arriving the next morning.

  5. Day 5: Fury Shoals

    Fury Shoals

    Today's diving takes place in the Fury Shoals region, an area celebrated for its beautiful coral gardens and underwater walls. The highlight is a visit to Sataya, also known as Dolphin House, where you will have the memorable experience of snorkeling with a resident pod of spinner dolphins between your dives.

  6. Day 6: Fury Shoals & Sheleneyat

    Fury Shoals / Sheleneyat

    The morning is dedicated to two final dives within the Fury Shoals area. After lunch, the boat navigates north for approximately six hours to reach the Sheleneyat reef. Depending on conditions and at the group's request, a dusk or night dive may be organized for the evening.

  7. Day 7: Elphinstone Reef

    Elphinstone Reef

    After sailing through the night, the boat arrives at the legendary Elphinstone Reef for the final two dives of the trip. Following the last dive, you can rinse your equipment as the vessel makes the two-hour trip back to Port Ghalib, with an estimated arrival time of 2:00 PM. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore optional land-based activities in Marsa Alam.

  8. Day 8: Departure

    Port Ghalib

    Following a final breakfast on board, you will disembark from the liveaboard. Transfers to the airport or a local hotel will be arranged based on your individual travel schedules.
