Embark on a historical dive journey in Egypt, exploring a rich underwater landscape filled with century-old wrecks and vibrant coral reefs. This unique itinerary delves into the Red Sea's magnificent Ras Mohammed National Park, a protected area boasting diverse marine life and extensive coral ecosystems. Divers can expect to encounter a wide array of fauna across various diving environments, from shallow reefs to deeper wreck sites. The trip offers an unparalleled opportunity to discover the historical and natural wonders beneath the Red Sea's surface.

Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Arrival Day – Safaga

    Upon arrival, friendly staff will welcome you and arrange transfer to the marina. After boarding the vessel, you can settle into your cabin and get acquainted with the liveaboard.

  2. Day 2: Departure from Safaga – El Gouna Area

    After breakfast, receive a comprehensive program overview and safety briefing before departing from the marina. The day includes your first dive, about 30 minutes from the marina, with an option for a second dive later. The boat will then journey north to the El Gouna area, known for its diverse dive sites and beautiful underwater scenery. A night dive may be offered, conditions permitting.

  3. Day 3: Abu Nuhas – Wreck Alley

    Today focuses on the renowned wreck sites near Abu Nuhas, often referred to as 'Wreck Alley'. Two wreck dives are planned for the morning. In the afternoon, another dive may be added, depending on conditions and the program. After a period of relaxation, a night dive may be available, offering a different perspective of the wreck sites and their nocturnal inhabitants.

  4. Day 4: Strait of Gubal & Sinai – Coastal Reefs

    The day begins with two dives in the Strait of Gubal, an area known for its vibrant reefs and clear waters. Following this, the boat will sail to the eastern shores of the Sinai Peninsula for additional dives. Two other dives will be proposed during the day, with the possibility of a night dive to round off the day's experiences, offering opportunities to explore the rich marine biodiversity of the region.

  5. Day 5: SS Thistlegorm & Shaab Mahmoud Wrecks

    This day is dedicated to diving one of the world's most famous wrecks, the SS Thistlegorm, located in the Straits of Gubal. Two dives are planned around this iconic site, allowing ample time for exploration. The boat will then sail to the eastern side of the Sinai Peninsula to reach the Shaab Mahmoud area, offering another dive opportunity. A night dive may also be available here, allowing for different marine encounters.

  6. Day 6: Ras Mohammed – Marine Park Dives

    The morning features dives within the spectacular Ras Mohammed Marine Park, a protected area known for its vibrant coral gardens and diverse marine life. Two dives are scheduled here. In the afternoon, the boat heads south for a third dive, which might include a beautiful coral garden or another wreck site. A night dive can potentially be added, depending on weather and sea conditions, offering additional opportunities to experience this iconic park.

  7. Day 7: Safaga Area – Final Dives

    The last two dives of the week take place in the Safaga area. This region is known for its stunning drop-offs, providing excellent underwater topography for exploration. After the final dive, you will have time to rinse your gear on the diving deck before the boat sails to the marina. The estimated arrival back at the marina is 2:00 PM, concluding the diving portion of the trip.

  8. Day 8: Departure Day

    After breakfast, departure from the boat will be arranged according to your flight schedule or transfer to your hotel. This marks the end of your liveaboard adventure.
